This made me think

When I sit here to write, it's impossible not to be influenced by the environment. It's impossible not to realise that I am but an insignificant cog in a giant wheel and the projects I work sooo hard on every day to get to a better place… well, they're not what really matters.
My view, my context, changes everything.
So what of those with a less stunning view?
Not everyone sits in this view, not everyone shares this context. For some, the view is dark, concrete and imposing.
Like it is impossible not to let my view influence my thoughts, the same is true of people with a dark, concrete and imposing view. It is impossible for them not to let their view infiltrate their thoughts.
If you start with a darker view, your analysis of your project, your situation and your opportunity to influence for the better, will be different.
Peak State
Mr Tony Robbins calls this “state” and is a big fan of saying if you want to change your results, change your state. You don't need the vista to change your state. You can make a conscious decision to approach life with a belief in opportunity and change.
Two people with the same project, the same resources, the same skills, but with a different state, would approach their projects differently.
If you want better results on your project, change your state.
